Update July 2025 – we have completed our kitchen refurbishment and also our new storage area, freeing up space in our hall. To celebrate we organised a “Big Breakfast” for the community!
Update Feb 2025 – In January we received the fantastic news that we’d been successful with our grant application to the National Lottery Community Fund. They have given the Village Hall £20k to support a kitchen refurbishment and a re-roofing of the kitchen.
Many thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund for their support, and to all the village volunteers who have kindly given their time to prepare the grant application and prepare for the refurbishment.
Work has now started, so unfortunately we won’t have kitchen facilities for a while, but are aiming to be complete for our Community Breakfast on April 12th!
Update – June 2024 Planning permission has been granted for improvements to be made to the Village Hall.
Plans include refurbishment of the kitchen and also upgrading of the toilet facilities to include a disabled toilet and improved access to the building.
